Great library with a nice place to eat on the top floor
Not my fav. Place in flordia. Not alot to do. Working on one way road.. and the ocean is brown from rivers not clear like northern beaches
What a shame. Id rather use the bathroom in a jail cell.
The Fort Myers Beach Library bathrooms are rancid. The men's bathroom is basically a locker-room for the homeless. There is piss on the walls and it is very hard to breathe in there. I used the commons area for the last year and the bathroom and commons area have not been cleaned once..
One of my favorite libraries that has many cozy nooks and crannies where you can see the ocean while reading a book or magazine. The glass elevator and 'beach display' on the third floor is very creative. There is also a cafe that is open during season and a large room containing a nice selection of current magazines. There are several study rooms and conference rooms as well. The second floor has computers along with a nice size DVD library and a play area for kids. This library is a fun place to go for the whole family. It would be nice though if they stayed open late one evening past 5.
Cletus is very helpful in the computer area. One of the best library's I've ever visited.
