Worth going here for the view and the drinks. The service was not good and the food was average.
Love this place! The view if he beach is great and the food and service are great as well! $2 crab cakes for the happy special were wonderful. And they let you place to-go orders for breakfast that is ready in 10-15 minutes!
Ordered a dozen oysters, asked us if we wanted steamed or raw, or half and half. Ordered half and half but they charged us for 2x half dozen price and they came out between dime and nickle size!?! The waitress said I'm sorry they are so tiny when she brought them but when I asked the manager no discount for their ridiculously small size or for charging us the 1/2 dozen price x2. Says they are off season, but still same price.
Very good food here. Had a burger and it was awesome. The bruchetta looked more like pizza bread and it was very tasted. Our waiter Joe he was awesome! We had great service. This resturant has a spectacular view of the beach. My only complaint was the god awful smell coming from inside bar
Me and my wife had a chance to compare multiple restaurants while staying at Fort Meiers Beach for a week. Sun Deck was the 1st we visited and became the one we wanted to go to on the last day. It indeed became our favorite. Great food at reasonable price. Impressive sunset view. Interesting glider lounge idea. Good live music. We went to another restaurant at Sunnybell Island rated at almost 5 stars, ordered same food items to be totally disappointed comparing to the Sun Deck Restaurant. Thank you Sun Deck!
