I have been going to this campground for many years and is one of my Favorites in South West Florida . You can camp right on the beach if you're lucky enough to get there and find a spot or have it reserved in advance. The location of this campground is wonderful because once you get there and get settle you can walk anywhere and everywhere. There are many restaurants bars shopping and other attractions within a 20 minute walk of the campground. The campground is well run and is neat and clean and organized and safe
I'd give the Red Coconut five stars except that the spots are so tight. They definitely try to cram as many occupants into the park as possible. However, we had a blast staying there. The beach is gorgeous. The park backs up to a reserve with nice walking trails and areas to fish. The Red Coconut is in the heart of everything so biking to area restaurants was easy except for a lot of vehicle traffic. We met quite a few semi-permanent residents of the park and they were all very welcoming and friendly. There were daily activities to participate in as well. We'll definitely be back!
Hard to tell since we just got here. The staff has been great so far and helped us upgrade for half of our stay. Love the beach camping with full hook ups. I'm sure we will be back.
