I received the best pedicure and manicure ever. I was there for a week long getaway and they made my vacation so much nicer. The Receptionist Gabrielle was so sweet she brought me a cookie and a mimosa and told me to kick back and relax. Love the staff here. cant wait for my next trip.
This past weekend(7/8/17, my husband surprised me with a relaxing weekend getaway at Diamondhead Beach Resort. He'd planned and scheduled for us to get a soothing couples massage on Saturday morning 9am at Esterra Spa located on the premises. We arrived and were checked in by the receptionist, I don't recall her name, but she was very polite. She handed my husband and me forms to sign and directed us to the seating area. We filled out the forms and waited, and waited, and waited. The receptionist eventually informed us that our masseuse was running a few minutes late. By this time our start time had passed. No big deal, I was there to relax. About 15 minutes later the masseuse arrived. She rushed in and started moving tables and equipment, never once acknowledging us, then she proceeded to whisper with the receptionist. After about 5 minutes of whispering, the masseuse apologized for her tardiness and regrettably informed us that the second masseuse for our couples massage was unreachable. We were instead given the option of individual massages, one scheduled after the other or rescheduling for later in the afternoon. Those options did not appear to me at all. I was beyond disappointed and so was my husband. He's not always the best when it comes to surprises, but he put a lot of effort into making this a relaxing weekend for me and this is definitely not what he had in mind. I was also scheduled to get a facial that day as well, but I just decided to leave the Spa, No Services Rendered. I expected a high end relaxing experience and instead I received poor customer service and not much else. I will not be returning and suggest any reading this stir clear as well.

Validate your reservation. Flew in from NC and was planning on surprising my wife with a pedicure and massage... just to find out we weren't on the schedule. They offered us 1/2 off and a chance to reschedule but we were already booked with things to do the rest of our vacation. 1st time this has ever happened to us at a spa.
